Lorena has more than a decade of professional experience with global firms in both Australia and America, including assisting Grant Thornton International with the coordination of the global Transfer Pricing practice. 

Lorena leads Grant Thornton Australia’s Sydney practice advising clients on Transfer Pricing issues and international tax planning. 

She has extensive experience in assisting corporates involved in the technology, retail, e-commerce and financial sectors, plan their transfer pricing and tax optimisation strategies, particularly in scenarios where corporates are looking to expand to overseas markets in the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions. 

Lorena has also significant experience dealing with transfer pricing issues associated with the benchmarking, pricing, planning and documentation of financing transactions for corporations and investment funds. 

In addition, Lorena has provided Transfer Pricing advice to large, multinational corporations in the automotive, pharmaceutical, fast moving consumer goods, manufacturing and services industries. Her experience includes audit defence, ruling negotiation (including Advanced Pricing Agreements and Mutual Agreement Procedures), due diligence services (focusing on transfer pricing risks and opportunities), prudential reviews of transfer pricing risks, Value Chain Optimisation consulting and strategy consulting. 

Lorena has extensive experience dealing with global transfer pricing projects aimed at achieving cross jurisdictional compliance and profit allocation optimisation.
