A new public listing app already in use in the states is possibly on its way to Australia. The streamlined Loyal3 share purchase process looks to be a smart way to encourage brand loyalty from a brand's customer base and allow investors to save on potential costs.
LOYAL3 is a fee-free app that lets retail investors buy into companies listing on the stock exchange for the first time, or buy shares – or part shares – in a range of listed entities. GoPro and VirginAmerica used the platform during recent IPOs, and US investors can currently use it to buy 66 stocks including Apple, Facebook and Walt Disney. During a visit to Australia last month Schneider said Australia “was on the front burner” of its international expansion plans. While the service is fee-free for investors, the companies which allow their shares to be sold via LOYAL3 pay for the privilege.
